BAA Event

The 2025 BAA National Championships, is only open to BAA members.

This is multi-day course will be held at the Thanet Judokwai Aikido (Margate) and Shogun Martial Arts School (Herne Bay)

Three day Junior, Youth and Adult Aikido school, hosted by Ichiban Dojo, Leeds.

Sessions on Aikido for Embu for Competition, Ninin Dori and freeplay; Koryu Dai Ni; Weapons work including Bokken, Yari, Jo and Tanto.
Sunday - Kyu & National Dan Grading (up to 6th Dan)

This is a national Dan grading up to and including 6th Dan.

Includes both Kyu grading and Dan grading.

Course starts 10am Grading at 2pm.

Competition open to Juniors, Cadets and adult BAA members from the Northern and Ireland regions.

Competition events include Randori-no-Kata, Kakarigeiko, Ninn dori, Open Kata, and individual Tanto Randori.

Closing date for entries is 18th October.

Preparation for World Championship training, with sessions for Juniors, Youth, Cadet & Adults. Open to all BAA members.
