BAA Junior, Cadet & Senior – Northern Area & Ireland

This competition is restricted to only BAA clubs from the Northern and Ireland regions only.

Entry Fee:

  • Seniors (over 18s): £20.00 per person
  • Juniors: £10.00 per person

All entrants must hold current BAA membership and bring proof, with their Record Book, on the day.

Junior Events

Under 8 Years (4 to 7 yrs old)

  • Randori-no-Kata 1-5
  • Tanto Kakarigeiko
  • Ninin dori

Under 10 years (8 to 9 yrs old)

  • Randori-no-Kata 1-10
  • Tanto Kakarigeiko
  • Ninin dori

Youth Events

Under 12 years (10 to 11 yrs old)

  • Randori-no-Kata 1-14
  • Tanto Kakarigeiko
  • Ninin dori

Under 14 years (12 to 13 yrs old)

  • Randori-no-Kata 1-14
  • Tanto Kakarigeiko
  • Ninin dori

Under 16 years (13 to 15 yrs old)

  • Randori-no-Kata 1-17

  • Ninin dori
  • Open Kata

Cadet Events

Under 19 years(16 to 19 yrs old)

Adult Events (over 19 years)

Kyu Grade only

  • Randori no Kata 1-17

1st Kyu and above

  • Tanto Randori no Kata 1-17

Any Grade

  • Open Kata – (unarmed, 2 mins max)
  • Ninin Dori
  • All Kata will be run on a knock-out flag system.
  • Judging of Junior Tanto Kakarigeiko and Ninin dori will be judged, via the points system.
  • In the event that there are insufficient numbers in the senior events, Kyu and Dan grade events may be merged.
  • Competitors cannot enter more than one age range per event.

Registration:

The competition will run from 10.00a.m. to 17.00. However, all competitors must be available to register from 09.00a.m. as follows:

  • 9.00am to 9:15am – Under 8s and Under 10s
  • 9.15am to 9:30am – Under 14s
  • 9.30am to 9:45am – Under 16s, Cadets & Seniors

This is to allow organisers time to readjust any event due to changes in number of competitors on the day.

This entry form will automatically close at midnight on 22nd November 2024 and there will be no further opportunity to submit entries.
