2026 BAA Senior, Cadet & Junior National Championships

Entry Fee :

  • BAA Junior members (up to & including 19yrs): £10.00 per person
  • BAA Senior members: £20 per person

All entrants must hold current insurance and bring proof, with their Record Book, on the day.

Junior Events

Under 8 Years (4 to 7 yrs old)

Under 10 years (8 to 9 yrs old)

Youth Events

PLEASE NOTE:

Only Club coaches can register their students with the competition organisers on the day.
The competition will run from 09:15 to 17.30. All competitors must be ready and on the mat at 09:15.

Rules

  • All Kata will be run on a knock-out flag system.
  • Judging of Junior Tantō Kakarigeiko and Ninin dori will remain as previously judged, via the points system.
  • In the event that there are insufficient numbers any of the junior, cadet or senior events may be merged.
  • Competitors cannot enter more than one age range per event and cannot enter events on the day. Seniors can enter multiple events – there is no limit.
  • Seeding will be done based on the previous BAA National event results held in 2025, then based on grade.

This entry form will automatically close at midnight on Sunday 22nd February 2026. No late entries will be accepted after this date.

Payments

Club coaches will be invoiced for payment after the event.

Payment may be made via bank transfer to the British Aikido Association:
