2025 BAA Senior, Cadet & Junior – North & Ireland Regional Championships

BAA Competition

Open to:

  • BAA clubs from the Northern and Ireland regions only.

Venue

  • Sedbergh Sports and Leisure Centre
  • Cleckheaton Road, Low Moor, Bradford BD12 0HQ

Entry Fee :

  • BAA Junior members: £15 per person
  • BAA Senior members: £20 per person

All entrants must hold current insurance and bring proof, with their Record Book, on the day.

Events:

All competitors must be on the mat ready for registration from 9:00 am.

Junior Events

Under 8 years (4 to 7 yrs old)

  • Randori-no-Kata 1-5
  • Tanto Kakarigeiko
  • Ninin dori

Under 10 years (8 to 9 yrs old)

  • Randori-no-Kata 1-10
  • Tanto Kakarigeiko
  • Ninin dori

Youth Events

Under 12 years (10 to 11 yrs old)

Any grade

  • Open Kata (unarmed, 2 mins max)
  • Ninin Dori
  • All Kata will be run on a knock-out flag system.
  • Judging of Junior Tanto Kakarigeiko and Ninin dori will be judged via the points system.
  • In the event that there are insufficient numbers in the events/age groups, events may be merged.
  • Competitors cannot enter more than one age range per event.
  • White Gi only
  • Clubs will be invoiced at point of entry.

A link will be made available via the BAA’s website for entries to be submitted. This entry form will automatically close at midnight on Saturday 18th October 2025 and there will be no further opportunity to submit entries.
